Scripture to Read Today: Jeremiah 32:17-27
Omnipotent - "God is All-Powerful"
Names and Attributes of God
Then the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah: "I am the LORD, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?"
Jeremiah 32:26-27

When I think or meditate on how powerful God is, I have found myself singing two songs throughout the years. I learned both during my childhood. One is a song I sang in children's church and other children's ministries as a kid. The other is a famous hymn that I also learned as a boy. They both speak of how our God is all-powerful.
Omnipotence means "God is all-powerful." That is an attribute that makes God entirely distinct from us. No matter how hard we try, we cannot do anything and everything. God, on the other hand, never faces anything too hard for Him. God declared that to the Old Testament prophet, Jeremiah, in Jeremiah 32:26-27. This passage helps us understand God's attribute of Omnipotence.
Today, we need to remember that only God can do the things that seem impossible in our world today. He can solve some of the greatest tensions and divisions our country has seen in a lifetime. Whatever you fear is beyond repair in your life or today's world, be reminded our God can do anything. He is all-powerful. Let the lyrics of the two songs I referenced from my childhood help to remind you how powerful and mighty your God is!
Remember, nothing is too hard or impossible for your God! He is all-powerful!
The Two Songs from My Childhood:
My God is So Big
My God is so big, so strong and so mighty
There's nothing my God cannot do
My God is so big, so strong and so mighty
There's nothing my God cannot do
The mountains are His
The valleys are His
The skies are His handiwork too
My God is so big, so strong and so mighty
There's nothing my God cannot do
There's nothing my God cannot do
There's nothing my God cannot do
For you
How Great Thou Art
O Lord, my God, when I in awesome wonder
Consider all the worlds Thy Hands have made
I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder
Thy power throughout the universe displayed
Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to Thee
How great Thou art, how great Thou art
Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to Thee
How great Thou art, how great Thou art
